The Base Mat Ultra IXPE is a lightweight, simple solution for hunters and outdoor adventurers to add a barrier of comfort and insulation between them and the ground.
Made from moulded IXPE closed-cell foam, it provides R1.9 insulation and protection on summer trips, and in colder climates, acts as a valuable extra layer under your main sleeping mat. The aluminium-coated surface reflects radiant heat towards the body, while trapping that valuable warmth within the ridges of the raised surface, helping retain consistent comfort where it matters most.
The accordion-style folding design packs down easily and sets up in seconds. Raised contouring across the surface adds comfort and improves insulation by trapping pockets of warm air.
Durable, water-resistant, and easy to carry, the Base Mat Ultra IXPE can be strapped to the outside of your pack, laid down over rough terrain, or partially unfolded to use as a seat while glassing or during breaks.
