Completely invisible at all distances, the 940nm variant is the choice when a fully covert setup is non-negotiable — zero visible glow means it won't spook game, no matter how close you're working.
940nm vs 850nm
The 940nm (this model) is completely invisible at all distances with zero visible glow, ideal when a fully covert setup is the priority — though range and image sharpness are slightly softer than the 850nm. The 850nm (sold separately) offers higher output, longer range and a sharper image, with a faint red glow visible up close but invisible at hunting distances — best when maximum range and image performance matter more than total covertness.
For hunters working close to moderate cover where staying fully invisible is the priority, the 940nm is the right choice.
