The Backpacker is an ultra-light spin rod. The design is actually a hybrid blend between two of Millerods most popular rods; the XFLC and the GrubFreak Lt!
This creates a light-tipped, versatile UL spin model for finesse applications, with plenty of low-down fish fighting power that kicks in if it’s needed… and when a travelling angler is prospecting new water this can definitely happen!
Think bream, bones, trout or perch and similar species anywhere in the world where small lures – especially soft plastics – and finesse presentation are required.
