How to Fish the Molix Swim Shad 90

The Molix Swim Shad 90 works well with a slow, steady retrieve that allows its segmented body to create a natural swimming action. Experiment with short pauses and changes in retrieve speed to imitate a baitfish and encourage following predators to strike.

For Australian bass, target weed edges, submerged timber and rocky banks. For flathead, work sand flats, channel edges and drop-offs. When targeting trout, try lake margins and deeper pools where small baitfish are present.

Choose your colour according to local baitfish, water clarity and light conditions. Take care around heavy structure, as the exposed belly treble hook can snag on timber and vegetation.
